NUS/NTU University Graduate Wage Survey

In this project, we use data provided by the Ministry of Education's annual University Graduate Wage Survey since 2013 to observe at trends in fresh graduate wages across times in various fields.

I used for loops to convert data from string to float in order to prepare the data for analysis.

NUS' school of computing graudates received the 3rd highest monthy wage compared with the other faculties in NUS.

Computing graduates also had the second highest full time employment rate after graduating. This makes sense as we are currently in an environment where there is a shortage of computing talent which results in high employment rates and growing wages.

Computing graduates have seen the fastest increase in their monthly wage amongst their peers, while traditionally popular areas of study like Medicine and Law have seen only a small increase in wage.

Not all computing graduates across the 3 local univerities are paid equally. NUS and SMU graduates have similar wages while NTU computing graduates are lagging behind.
